Rescue Me ID: 14-04-07-00423Zula (female)
Zula is a very sweet pittie who was adopted when she was a little puppy and returned to us because her owner's house was foreclosed. She used to play at Dioji, a cage free boarding facility and did great with all of the dogs there. Zula does how ever have bad knees and will need to have surgery on both of them. She has ruptured CCLs which are the ligaments above her knee cap. Some dogs can be fine with just restricted activity and some dogs may need surgery as a result of this. Rescue Me ID: 14-04-04-00433Hutton (male)
Hutton is an amazingly smart dog who has had a lot of hours of training put into him. He has been adopted from out shelter twice before but has been returned both times. He just hasn't quite found the right match yet. He does have some resource guarding issues (he will stand over his food and water bowl and growl) so he does need a dog savvy owner who will work on these issues with him. He does come with a free training session at our facility prior to adoption. Hutton weighs about 80 pounds and should be placed in a kid free home due to his guarding issues. Rescue Me ID: 14-03-10-00497Cooper (male)
Cooper requires a dog knowledgeable adopter as he has dominant tendencies and he also has issues with resource guarding. He needs to have strict rules and boundaries put in place for him. Cooper will be going through a training program soon and if you were to adopt him we would provide you with the resources to continue training. Cooper can be very dominant with other dogs so he is still learning how to be social around them. He likes to mount them right away so we are teaching him that isn't okay. He does enjoy playing with other dogs, going for bike rides and hikes. Cooper needs to be placed in a home without children. He lived as a stray ... Rescue Me ID: 14-02-28-00397Panda (female)
Panda is a high energy fun loving 11 month old pit bull mix. She is a petite size weighing in at 45 pounds. Panda is currently going through training to help her be more social around other dogs. She's hyper and like to play rough which some dogs don't appreciate. She would do fine with lower energy, calmer dogs who can be a role model to her. We only put no kids because she can be reactive on leash. We are working on her and she's making leaps and bounds being out of the shelter environment. Star is a well trained sweet dog. She has had hours of training, walks well on a gentle leader, knows sit, down and stay really well. She has been through our training program and is a very smart girl. She plays with a male dog who she likes, but Star hasn't encountered a lot of dogs and would need some more socialization. She isn't aggressive at all, but she just doesn't know how to be around other dogs entirely. Star would make an awesome dog for someone who wants to take her on walks everyday and let her be loved!
